Luke's Senior Sneak Peek

While we were shooting family pics for the Fredericks, we got some senior pics for Luke. It's hard to believe he only has one more year of school before he's off to college. So here's a few shots of the oldest Frederick son.

Luke's shades are one of his favorite things so there in almost every picture from the day.

Luke also likes his hat...

...and his dad likes it facing forward.

All done for the day!

Family of Fredericks Sneak Peek

So I know my friend Holly has been eagerly awaiting these pics so I hope she likes them! We got up early and were able to beat the heat. I don't think the weather could have been any more perfect! I had a great time and can't wait to do some more!

I couldn't have asked for a better shot--this was the very first pic of the day!

Paul and Holly--even the kids kept saying how cute they are!

The kids--Josiah, Ian, and Luke (look for his senior picture sneak peek coming soon!)

It sure was fun watching them all try to get up on this wooden thing!

This is quite possibly one of my favorite shots of the day. They had to do some climbing to get here too!

I love to see the love when couples interact with each other like I'm not even there!

We're almost done!

I told the guys they could relax...so they did! They even got to untuck their shirts!

Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek! Be sure to leave some love on the comments!

Still Here

I just want to let everyone know that we are still here! It's been a crazy but wonderful month of no blogging (not intentionally though). Maggie is 3 months old and my new nephew arrived at the beginning of the June and other than going to meet him, we haven't done anything but just enjoy spending time together as a family! Maggie's got her first cold right now so that's been pretty rough. I got to do some family and senior pictures for some friends on Saturday. Expect a sneak peek in the next post very soon and I will start working on catching everyone up on the blog. Hopefully you'll be inundated with lots and lots of pics of the past couple months. For now, here's a pic of the kiddos!

Applause!

Let me just say that Wyatt loves applause. I mean, he really loves it. If we have the tv on and people start clapping, he stops what he's doing, runs to the tv, and starts clapping and smiling with them. Then he throws up his arms like he's celebrating a touchdown! I'm telling you right now that I see a big spotlight on him in his future!

So for this video, the drum counts as you hit it. When you get to 10, it cheers and applauds you. Needless to say, Wyatt LOVEs it! It also applauds when you get to the end of the alphabet (on another setting), but he doesn't care to wait that long. ;)

Wyatt's First Haircut!

While Kev was off on paternity leave, we decided to take advantage of our time together during the week by taking Wyatt for his first haircut. He was not excited about sitting in the chair, so he sat in my lap. However, his hairs got cut and a few of them made it into the baggy for rememberance. Now that I'm finally posting almost 2 months later, he's actually ready for another trim. I might even be brave enough to try it myself...or not. We'll see! Here's the befores and afters.

Maggie's 2 Months

Last week I took Maggie in for her 2 month check-up. It was awful. She cried for so long after her shots, I thought she'd never stop. Wyatt never cried that long. I think Wyatt was much more laid back than Maggie and he still is to an extent. As far as measurements go, Maggie is a healthy "little" girl. I knew she was growing, but I was surprised at how much.

To put it in perspective, here are Wyatt's measurements from his 2 month check-up:

Height: 25 1/4 in. (97th %)
Weight: 13 lbs. 5 oz. (75th %)
Head: 16 1/2 in. (90th %)

It wasn't until his 4 month check-up that he was off the charts. We all know how big he is now! So here are Maggie's 2 month stats:

Height: 24 1/4 in. (97th %)
Weight: 14 lbs. 12 oz. (above 97th %)
Head: 16 1/4 in. (95th %)

So she weighs more, but she's shorter. However, the percentiles are the same for the height because boys are generally taller. I think she's decided she needs to grow quickly so her size might protect her from her brother?

At 2 months old, Maggie is awake 2-3 times a day and she smiles a lot! She's wearing 3-6 months size clothes and her hair appears to be strawberry-blond to auburn depending on the lighting! Her big brother adores her and loves to love on her every chance he gets. We are so blessed by both of our babies!

Now for some 2 month pictures. I took these on Mother's Day.

Oh she is a happy girl!

The Zoo!

I would like to point out that it has taken 4 attempts to get these pictures uploaded. That's why it's been a while since the last post. Here goes:

After we went to the Aquarium, we took a day trip to the zoo. We got there a little later than we had wanted (big shocker!). I think we have forgotten how hard it is to get out the door with an infant while nursing. However, we still had a good time. I think Wyatt's favorite part was just walking around! By the end of the trip, he was exhausted! I'm not going to caption the pictures. I'm pretty sure they speak for themselves! Enjoy!

Fish Day

A post about us!

Earlier this month we went to the Georgia Aquarium for part of our spring break. I'd never been to this one and we thought Wyatt would enjoy it. I was also hoping he might come away with "fish" added to his list of words he can say...alas, it was all for nought. We did have a good time though and Wyatt really seemed to like all the fish and other animals.
We had originally planned to get there right when they opened because that's supposed to be the best time to go. We were staying with Kev's brother in Athens so we wouldn't have to drive so far. We got up in time, but Maggie needed to eat. Then, our GPS didn't have the aquarium on it so we ended up not being able to take the quickest route. We also had to make a quick stop at wal-mart so I could get Wyatt a leash, because we left ours at home. We did finally make it, but we lost a lot of time. When we got there, another family had extra tickets to the 3D show for right then, so we went to that. Unfortunately, the first jump into 3D land was accompanied by a very loud noise and it scared Wyatt so we left. Then it was off to see the fishes!
Here are some pictures from the day.

Kev didn't want to have to chase Wyatt around all day, so he opted to wear Maggie. I think he enjoyed it as much as she did! :)

If you haven't been lately, then you haven't seen the dolphins. This is what you get to see unless you pay for the show. (**disclaimer--there was a dolphin swimming in this tank, but it swam out of the picture)

Wyatt found it!

There were several little crawl spaces for the little ones. I don't think Wyatt liked them as much as we did, but by this point he was pretty tired.

This was so cool! The penguins were right there and all around us!

This penguin and its buddy must've thought Wyatt was one of them because they came right to him and stayed there, swimming up and down, until we left them. They even tried to follow us. It was so neat and definitely my favorite part of the day!

Love it!

The whales were cool and it was the only place in the aquarium you could actually hear the music. Wyatt was just as interested in dancing to the music as he was watching the whales!

I love my family!

Okay, time to go so we can sleep now!

Just a Bunch of Characters

Last Friday I did a photo shoot for my friends. You probably know them as those people with all those kids! We just laugh and say that if the kids are gonna be that good looking, they might as well keep having them! I've known Mark and Abbie since about the time Zoe came along. I started babysitting for them and Abbie and I became fast friends. She and Mark kind of adopted me as a little sister and Zoe was my flower girl. Anyhoo--here's a sneak peek of this beautiful family!

The ones who started it all. This is just one of the many great shots.

First up is Zoe. She's a supermodel in the making!

Here's Ace. He's so handsome!

Liam--love those blue eyes!

Josiah--so stinkin' cute!

Ceili Rain--precious little princess!

Bryant--littlest of the bunch and just as much fun as the rest!

I've still got some editing to do on these, but I just couldn't wait to share! Want to see more of the bunch? Check out their blog here! The main picture is the one I took back after Thanksgiving.
