Pool Time

We took Wyatt to the pool for the first time last Wednesday. I figured he would love it after seeing how much he liked the beach and knowing how much he enjoys splashing in the tub! I was right! He had so much fun just splashing around. We let him float and swirled him around. He made sure everyone knew he was having a good time! We stayed in the baby pool this time around, but I'm hoping to get one of those baby floats so we can take him in the big pool some. So here are some pictures from the day!

Slathered up in sunscreen and ready to go!

Splashing with Daddy!

Chillaxin!

Fun with Mommy in the shade! (yes I'm wearing sunscreen Mom)

Just a little tuckered out!

Pull-ups

Wyatt is just continuing to grow and develop faster than ever these days. He is able to sit up on his own (I haven't seen how he does it, just the end result) and he can pull up. It's so exciting and stressful at the same time because we worry about what he's going to hit his head on when he falls over! So far he's only hit the floor pretty hard. However, I think it startles him more than anything (and Kev as well)! We're definitely having a lot of fun and enjoying every minute. We can't wait to see what's in store for the rest of Wyatt's first year! So here are some pictures from this month so far.

Wyatt and I went to Jump City with some friends. I got to socialize while Wyatt played on the floor and the big kids jumped around!

Little J was showing us that he could make Wyatt's toy work without putting it in his mouth!
Sorry about CR's face! (Check out more of this bunch here!)

When I feed Wyatt on the floor, he kinda does this rock back and forth thing...therefore, he gets food in/on places other than his mouth. About two minutes before this shot, I had already wiped the glob of sweet potatoes off of his forehead!

I went to a movie with some friends and Kev sent me this picture so I wouldn't go into withdrawal too bad!

Snuggle time with Daddy!

Hanging out with Aunt Ally!

I know it's weird, but I just love this shot! (the shirt says "I come in peace"!)

I love baby feet!

Kev hasn't been able to feed Wyatt except for one time when we first got him home. However, things have changed a little and now Daddy gets to feed him 9 months later!

He was so proud of himself!

He was so tickled with his new abilities!

He was supposed to be napping, but after more fussing than usual, I went to check on him and found this. He was still fussing and just wanted to wait a few more minutes before nap time.

**Stay tuned for pictures from Wyatt's first adventure to the pool!

My B-E-A-U-tiful neice!

I have been so lucky to get to see my neice a couple times last month and last weekend and take pictures of her. She is 6 months old now and growing so fast. She is so beautiful (just like her momma)!

She has some amazing blue eyes!

Her first food after rice cereal was peas. I don't think she cared for them much!

If looks could kill!

Smiling for her momma!

Smile for Aunt Tracy! :)

She loves her feet!

Such great personality!

Wyatt's 9 Months

So my little man has officially been here longer than he was in my belly. The time has flown by and it's just crazy. I mean, you know that time flies and that kids grow up so fast, but it's just so different when you finally have your own quickly-growing kid! Did I mention that the night before his 9 month day, he started crawling? He's officially mobile and our lives are forever changed (about as much as they were when he was born!). We don't go for his 9 month check-up for a few more weeks, but here are pics from his 9 month photo shoot!

Updates

So it's been a few weeks since my last post and I figured it was time for a new one. Things have definitely been crazy and eventful. Kev's been having health issues that have pretty much stressed us out to the max but after several doctor visits and many tests and much bloodwork, everything seems to be fine. He's going to be having a sleep study done to see if he has sleep apnea and then we'll go from there.

Wyatt had another illness. The doctor thinks he might be getting secondary infections caused by allergies. He started running a high (well, high for us) fever last Monday and we went to the doc on Tuesday. He's been on antibiotics and seems to be doing much better. He has some serious nasal congestion and is still pretty irritable (probably due to the congestion) at times. He sounds terrible when he's sleeping and it's just pitiful to hear him. I can't wait to have my happy baby back to normal.
He is continuing to grow and change and he's so close to crawling. He's been getting up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth so much. Sometimes he even crawls backwards a little. Then he gets back on his belly and rolls and turns around all over the floor. He's lunging out of my arms when I'm holding him and he wants something on the floor. I should've known, but he's going to be such a handful when he gets mobile!
And since no post is complete without them, here are some pictures!

My best friend, L, and her hubby, A, stopped by on their way to L's parents house for Easter.

I love baby feet! He likes to sleep sideways in the crib with his feet hanging out!

"Mom's on the couch and I'm on the floor...I'm not sure about this."

Sweet lovin with Daddy!
