Wyatt's 15-month Check-Up!

Wyatt had his 15-month check-up last Thursday. He's still growing big! Here are his stats:

Head: 20 1/4 in. (above 97%)
Weight: 30 lbs. (95%)
Height: 35 3/4 in. (above 97%)

His weight gain has slowed down a good little bit so I think that's a good thing. It makes it easier to lift and carry him! His height is still tracking off the charts. He's so tall! He's been able to reach things that a 1-year-old should not be able to reach for a while, and now he can reach more. He's grown a whole inch since his last check-up and he's so close to 3 ft. I was kind of hoping he would be 3 ft just so I could say that I had a 3-footer!
Since he was sick this last time around, Dr. B started him on a steroid nose spray. I think it's definitely working because she said that it was the clearest she'd seen his nose, so praise the Lord! This is supposed to help prevent him from getting those nasty secondary infections that he's so prone to so hopefully it will do it's job!
We did Wyatt's Christmas card photo shoot last weekend. Kev took the pictures while I distracted/entertained! It was a short, fun shoot and Wyatt was so funny! Here's a sneak peak.

Yay for December!

I know it's been a week since the last post. However, I didn't think anyone would mind after the onslaught of posts during the blog challenge. I guess I just needed a break. Let me just say that I am so glad for the cold weather December has brought to us. So what's up with us? Not much really. I think my belly has doubled in size since Sunday and baby girl is just moving and grooving a good bit. I am 27 weeks now and the 3 months that are left still seem very far away! It's amazing how unimportant pictures of the baby bump have become since the first time around. I want to get some pictures, but I just haven't felt like it lately and when I do feel good, I don't think about it.
Wyatt goes for his 15 month check-up tomorrow (he turned 16 months yesterday) and I'm really excited to get his official height measurement. He's just too tall for his own good, or ours for that matter. He can reach things that most 1-year-olds should not be able to reach yet and it's quite stressful at times! He is definitely the most amazing part of our lives and we continually thank God for him!
Kev's just working, as usual. He did have the entire week of Thanksgiving off and it was so nice to be together as a family for a few days with nothing major to do!
I had the opportunity to take more photos for some Characters and friends. I'm really happy with how they turned out...especially the one with all 10 kids! That's right--I said 10 kids all under 10. It was by far the most challenging shoot I could imagine, but we really had a lot of fun. You can check out some of the pictures here on Abbie's blog. Meanwhile, here's some pictures of Wyatt watching the madness!

He hung out for a little bit in the stroller and did really well!

With all that's going on behind him, I wonder what must have been going on in front of him!

He loves leaves! He likes to pick them up and throw them and then he likes to try to put them back on the trees that they may or may not have come from!

Blog Challenge: Day 30

Day 30: A Picture Now

I know, this was supposed to be here yesterday, but plans change. I had planned to have Kev take a picture of me all prego when he got home, but I was unable to pose for any pictures. I have been experiencing bad muscle spasms in my low back area during this pregnancy and yesterday was the worst it's been. The pain is usually gone by the morning, but it's still there today. The worst part is that it makes it quite difficult to sit on the floor and play with my little man. It makes me very sad when he's trying to pull me off the couch to play on the floor so I try to play for short periods of time when I can stand it.

So since I don't have any recent pics of me that I haven't already shared, I will have to share a picture of Wyatt. However, I don't think any of my readers will mind!

Wyatt likes to pull the DVDs off the rack and look at them like books. We generally don't mind because he's not destructive with them. Last week, he decided to look at them like this! We were quick to grab our cameras and capture him being so precious!
